On this day in 1904… Dessert History was made at the World’s Fair in St. Louis… When an ice cream vendor named Ernest Hamwi ran out of Cups & Bowls, & had no way to serve up his delicious frozen treats.
It was at THAT point, a Young Brooke Fox sauntered up to his cart & screamed: “Hey Mister! I’ll hand-scoop that stuff straight out of the bucket into my mouth!”… Luckily, Ernest had a better idea… Because there was a Waffle Vendor right next to him… So he bought some waffles, folded them into a cone shape… and the rest is history.
Thats why today… to HONOR the humble beginnings of the modern Ice Cream Cone… we’re doing a special… 31 Crazy Flavors EDITION of Plenty of Twenty.
