On this day, back in 1966…. a young British musician named “Davy Jones” looked at his birth certificate & thought, “EW, with a stupid like that, I’ll never get famous”
So he pulled a Rebrand, and started calling himself: “David Bowie”… and the rest is history.
But he’s not alone… The entertainment industry is FILLED with people who decided their real names, just weren’t star material… (like our own Brooke Fox… who’s actual birth name is: “Mildreth Hussein Gunkweiler” – but she changed it to SOUND COOL, for radio)
