The Addams Family at Black Hills Community Theater

September 29, 2023 @ 7:00 PM - September 30, 2023 @ 9:00 PM

Black Hills Community opens its 56th Season with a creepy & kooky musical for families! The Addams Family, with book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice and music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa brings everyone’s favorite spooky family to the stage. When a now grown up Wednesday Addams confides in her father that she is in love with Lucas, a sweet, smart, and normal young man, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. When Lucas and his “normal” parents come to dinner, the world is turned upside down for the entire Addams clan (living and dead).

The Addams Family is directed by Alexis Evon and Jonasia Nance. The directors have said they enjoy working on this show because of its kookiness and the fact that it is a beautiful story of love, in all its forms. The artistic team also includes Music Director Vonnie Houchin and Choreographers Anna Auchampach and Debbie Minter. Playing the members of the iconic family are Daniel Petrushev as Gomez, Kaitlin Buchholz as Morticia, Gretchen Lindenberg as Wednesday, Bryon Christian as Uncle Fester, Henry Olivier as Pugsley, Kristol K. McKie as Grandma, Rocklon Kinsella as Lurch and Penny Stevens as Cousin Itt. Dakota Morgan plays Wednesday’s fiancée Lucas and his parents are played by
Tom Powers and Tessa Braddy. The cast is rounded out by an ensemble of Addams Ancestors including Balie Albrecht, Brianna Bohling, Allie Byrd, Stephanie Eliason, Jenna Green, Lukas Linn, Morgen MacDonald, Ashley Mathieson, Tammie McCraw, Angela Miller, Emily Muirhead, Ryan Puffer, Cambell, Quinonez, Elora Randle, Carmen A.
