Our 14th Annual Chili Pepper Roast is right around the corner, folks! This event has grown to be one of our favorite events of the year, and we so much enjoy sharing it with all of you! It is truly an outstanding time to bring the family out to Jolly Lane and enjoy the atmosphere, as well as all the goodies to be had. We can’t wait to see you all, and roast some chiles! We know how excited everyone gets for the annual Chili Roast, so we’ve extended it to three days this year! The 2019 Chili Roast will be September 13-15. Get the dirt on this year’s event here:
Whether you’re a heat-seeker, or lean towards the milder flavors, our 14th Annual Chili Roast is sure to have something that will please your palate. Our selection of fresh and fire-roasted peppers include varieties from Anaheim, Big Jim, Poblano and Hatch, and range from mild to dynamite hot, for those of you that can handle the heat! Our slow roasted chilies are the perfect flavor addition to any meal, and are available by the pound or can be pre-ordered by the bushel, just give us a call at 605-393-1700.
For those of you that aren’t quite as crazy about chilies as we are, or for those who haven’t had the time or space for your own gardens, we’ll have an outstanding Produce Market for you to pick from. Even if your garden is providing a bounty of goodness this year, the market allows you to further stockpile peaches, apples, tomatoes and other produce that are perfect for canning, cooking or savoring as a healthy snack. While you’re here, you may as well get yourself in the fall spirit, and grab yourself a couple pumpkins to decorate your porch for the season!
The goodies don’t end there; we also have a wide selection of canned goods to choose from. From tasty fruit butters to zesty relishes and BBQ sauces, our selection provides a great opportunity for you to fill your pantry with delectable pickled vegetables, spreads, dips and sauces canned by regional producers.
In the spirit of keeping things local, we’ll be serving craft beers from some of the Black Hills best breweries, some tremendous local and regional wines. Plus, if the smell of the roasting chilis has you feeling hungry, we’ll have the Green Chilli Shack food truck and Grounded Travelling Coffee & Kitchen on location to serve you some truly delicious eats throughout the entire event! So make it a social event, and bring your friends!

Friday, September 13: 8am – 7pm
Saturday, September 14: 8am – 6pm
Sunday, September 15: 11am – 4pm
