The Black Hills Military Advisory Coalition is hosting the final 2024 Chow Hall luncheon on November 20 at The Monument in Lacroix Halls C/D.
The keynote speaker for this month’s event is Scott Landguth, Executive Director of the South Dakota Ellsworth Development Authority (SDEDA).
Landguth will provide high-level information on the creation, purpose, and overall mission of SDEDA, as well as discuss basing decisions and the Air Force Scorecard.
He will also touch on the importance of ensuring that Ellsworth remains viable for mission expansion beyond its current programming and what SDEDA does to help. Additionally, Landguth will explain how SDEDA’s mission ties into the overall goals of the Power River Airspace expansion, Box Elder wastewater treatment plant, Readiness and Environmental Protection Integration (REPI) and land sales/land gifts, Clean Water Project, Liberty Center, BH MAC involvement, Spouse Licensure, and support for school expansion.
The event is open to active duty, Guard, reserve, and all community members. The purpose of these regular events is to facilitate communication and knowledge transfer of military happenings and topics that are critical to our local community. Along with the keynotes and featured speakers, there will be military and Black Hills MAC updates. We cordially invite you to be a part of this month’s program. Please feel free to invite guests to attend. For more information, please contact tif.robertson@ellsworthauthority.com
