Main Street Square presents the Bierborse Festival on July 22nd at 1:00 pm. A beer stock exchange and tasting alley will be set up at Main Street Square’s 12th annual Bierbörse, a German beer, and cultural celebration. The Designated Driver booth is sponsored by Coca-Cola.
Try a selection of brews down Tasting Alley, participate in a beer stock exchange at the Coors Light Beverage Garden, taste authentic German food from Enigma, enjoy live music, test your strength and wit with 3 of your best mates in the Beer Olympics or enjoy other solo yard games such as stein-holding, keg bowling and more.
In the beer stock exchange, the price of beer will vary from $2 to $8, and price is dependent on demand. For example, if the Dakota Point’s Nephobiber Hazy IPA brew is very popular, the price will rise. If no one is drinking Coors Light, the price will plummet and possibly crash. When a beer’s value is low, it will cost a minimum of $2. If it is high in demand, it may cost up to $8.
There will be two fenced-in areas, one for tasting and one for the Beer Stock Exchange. The event is 21+, Only those with a valid ID may consume alcohol. Main Street Square promotes drinking responsibly.
The tasting passes gain you entry to try more than 60 beers from 1 to 5 p.m. Passes are $50 in advance and $55 at the event and are required to enter the tasting area.
A limited number of passes are available. Each pass holder will receive an unlimited tasting wristband and a souvenir 5-ounce beer stein. Pre-sale passes and souvenir steins will be available at Will Call on the day of the event in the Visitor Information Center located on the north side of Main Street Square. Passes may also be purchased at this location on the day of the event. A tasting or designated driver pass is required to enter the tasting area. Within the tasting area, there will be a designated driver booth with complimentary non-alcoholic beverages for those that purchased a DD Pass.
Due to the new layout, for security and safety, Bierbörse Festival 2023 will be a 21+ event, and passes are required to enter the fenced-in tasting area.
