The Deadwood Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau with support from Black Hills Energy will host a city-wide job fair on April 20 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Deadwood Welcome Center, 501 Main Street, Deadwood, South Dakota.
This is the second time a city-wide job fair has been offered in Deadwood. The Chamber & Visitors Bureau is offering a neutral, no-pressure location for employers and potential employees to connect. Deadwood businesses have numerous positions available, full-time and part-time, year-round and seasonal, and anyone interested in employment within Deadwood should attend and learn about employment opportunities throughout the community. Deadwood businesses offer competitive wages, benefits and opportunities for advancement, and there is truly something for all job seekers.
All are welcome to attend, regardless of experience level or work positions you are looking for (ages 14+). Businesses have donated door prizes, including gift certificates, and all applicants in attendance can sign up to win. Applicants are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes and general applications will also be available. Job opportunities are available in a number of areas including gaming, customer service, entertainment, retail, food and beverage, hospitality, security, healthcare, administration and maintenance.
Nearly 20 Deadwood businesses and organizations have already confirmed with more adding daily, including Custer Crossing Family Campground, Deadwood Mountain Grand, Naughti Winery/Sick-N-Twisted, Woody’s Wild West Photography, Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort, Silverado/Franklin, Chubby Chipmunk, Bloody Nose Saloon/Deadwood Distillery, Mineral Palace, Deadwood Gulch Resort, Barefoot Resort, Cadillac Jack’s Gaming Resort, Gold Nugget Trading Post, Buffalo-Bodega and Harley Davidson. The Department of Labor and U.S. Marine Corps will attend as well.
