The Family Bicycle Fair Presented by Strider Bikes is an event for anyone and everyone in the community to come learn more about the basics of bike riding. We’re not just looking for the hardcore biking enthusiasts, but rather families looking to get started riding together or those who have bikes that have been sitting untouched in their garage for the past few years.
Join us at Founders Park in Rapid City, S.D., anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2023. We’ll have local businesses and cycling enthusiasts on-hand to share their knowledge about some biking basics, like routine maintenance, riding safely, and family and beginner-friendly places to ride in the Black Hills. We’ll also have an area with games and courses set up to try out Strider Bikes for people of all ages, sizes, and riding abilities.
There will be a grand opening celebration at 10:00 a.m. for the All American Trail with Strider Bikes founder, Ryan McFarland, and Rapid City Mayor, Steve Allender. Constructed with support from the Strider Rider Fund, the All American Trail gives riders an unintimidating, first-time-on-dirt experience intended to build the confidence needed to step up to more advanced mountain bike trails.
