Come visit The Farm Stand at Bear Butte Gardens, conveniently located at 20445 Hwy 79, just a few minutes northeast of Sturgis, for an entire day filled with mushroom-related activities.

Our festival includes an exciting lineup of mushroom workshops, live music, mouthwatering mushroom cuisine tastings, engaging kids’ activities, a diverse array of mushroom vendor products, and much more! Alan Carner, a seasoned expert in Black Hills Mushrooms, will be sharing invaluable insights on mushroom cultivation and the art of foraging wild mushrooms in the Black Hills. You can also participate in educational workshops covering the fundamentals of log inoculation and spore prints.

Chef Taylor Roberts, known for his culinary expertise, will tantalize your taste buds with intriguing samples of dishes showcasing mushrooms as the star ingredient. You’ll discover the incredible versatility of this specialty food, from its origins in foraging and cultivation to the delightful dishes we savor. Best of all, these daytime activities are entirely free and perfect for the entire family!

For those looking to extend the culinary adventure, we have a special treat in store. After the festival, the evening will culminate in a gourmet, 5-course dinner with a mushroom-themed menu crafted by the esteemed local chef, Taylor Roberts. Dinner tickets are available for purchase separately, and they’re limited, so be sure to secure yours early.
