Black Hills Community continues its 55 th Season with the thrilling adventure She Kills Monsters. As
Agnes Evans leaves her childhood home in Ohio following the death of her teenage sister, Tilly, she
finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure when she finds Tilly’s
Dungeons & Dragons notebook. Through her travels into the D&D world, Agnes finally gets to know her
“misfit” sister. In this high-octane dramatic comedy, acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen offers a heart-
pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all.

She Kills Monsters is directed by Alexis Evon, whose previous BHCT credits include Assistant Director
for 33 Variations and appearing onstage in Shrek and Julius Caesar. The cast of local actors features
David Andrews, Taylor Boland, Karina Causey, Nick Christenson, Rebekah Cox, Desiree Danielson, Heidi
Dehn, Emma Hunt, Kyle Klopfenstein, Rowan Kozak, Franny Myers, Jonasia Nance, Samantha O'Neal
and Shannon Truax. This production contains adult language and adult situations.

Black Hills Community Theatre (BHCT) typically produces five Mainstage shows, two youth productions,
an annual Dinner Theatre Fundraiser, a Play Reading Series, plus workshops, special events and
summer theater camps. The mission of BHCT is to inspire, entertain, and educate the Black Hills
community through quality theatre with a vision to be an inclusive and diverse community of people
pursuing excellence in the theatre arts.
