Come out and explore the sky!  The evening begins with a video of the night’s topic shown on the outdoor screen while night falls.  Telescopes are set up outside on the lawn for viewing and the observatory telescope is broadcast to a large screen television.  Seating is limited in the outdoor classroom so you may want to bring your own camp chair.  Cloudy skies may clear as the sun sets so any cancellation is usually held until that evening.  See our website for more information about the observatory and star parties.
